HUMBLE pIE??????

before i start complaining , i just want 2 say thanx to JB  for lending me a mountain bike 2 ride for a couple days……it has been so long since i`ve ridden a mtb , i used to own a couple of them myself ….bikes , they come and they go …..so i was sitting around last week just getting over bronchitus for 2 weeks, after spending the previous 10 weeks or more pretty inactive due to PAIN in the neckyidous, well the pain is still there( but i just don`t care anymore i`ve learned to deal with it without the use of medicine)but i was wishing for nothing more than a nice week somewhere in a warm climate to blow the rest of the black chunks out of my lungs, as fortune would have it , i managed to get my hands on a mtb to ride! and, on top of that 70 degree weather was headeded my way!!!!!!so i went out sunday morning to ride with all the psyco cross racers at some park in new kent county, (i couldn`t see srtaight enuff to read the sign when leaving , this was after about 30 minutes of mtbing…..) so tripp drove us home… this was the first taste of the humble pie, but i figured well it could only get better from here….so on monday, with the nice weather i did a nice 2hrs on the road (at least my neck and back didn`t bother me, so i figure i`ll stick to my plan…) so now on tuesdy i set out to do some mtbing with Todd and Robb, did i mention how nice the weather is??? well , as we headed out tripp looked back at me  and said “come on can`t you even keep up with a singlespeeder on the road?” . here i was before we even got to the trail, and i was already seeing double quadruplet vision!! so we made it to the trail i got a couple GOOD    SHOTZ  on d-Bo`z DH…..after that it was on , the handling skills were there, but after 10 minutes (probally more like 5) of chasing Todd and Robb i had my 1st cardiac attack….but i got my breathing right and started again , luckilly they waited ?, so i take the lead and after another 5 minutes of intense riding i was done……?well i managed to drag myself out of the woodz and started to slow crawl back to Todd`s house , while he and Tripp got to go back thru and take a longer route back, did i mention TODD rode 100 miles in 4hrs and 40 minutes by himself the day before , and tripp was on a rigid ass singlespeed on the roughest terrain tidewater has to offer!!!!!!on the same trailz at 1 time i could ride 5hrs straight!!!! now i coulodn`t even handle 45 minutes….well thanx again JB for lending your bike to ride , but i`ve had all the HUMBLE PIE one man can handle for a week……..give me a call and I`LL  get it back to you ……

Danbo- I don’t remember saying anything to you on the road- as I found out today-courtesty of Todd it’s not to early in the year to suffer- hope we can do it again soon, especially w/ this weather.
